The Bay Port Wrestling Program would like to invite area youth (boys and girls) to participate in the 2018-19 youth wrestling season. The program will provide coaching for youth that are interested in wrestling and reside in the Howard-Suamico School District. This program offers the participants the opportunity to develop skills not only in wrestling, but also with leadership, self-confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Registration is online and is open now through November 12.
Pre-K through 5th Grade (6th through 8th grade wrestlers are eligible to wrestle with the middle school program). All experience levels are welcome.
Dates: (Group 1 Mondays is FULL)
Group 1A and 1B: Pre-K - 1st grade beginners. When you register your wrestler you will have the option to select your wrestler's practice day, either a Monday evening practice group OR a Saturday morning practice group. Practices will begin in January and will include 7 practices. Practice schedule will be emailed to you on November 16th.
Group 2 and Group 3: First practice for 1st (non-beginners) - 5th grade is on December 4, 2018 and concludes on February 14, 2019, all practices are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (with some make-up days on Wednesdays) at the Bay Port High School Wrestling Room. Practice schedule will be emailed to you on November 16th.
Group 4: First practice for 3rd - 5th (advanced) on December 4, 2018 and concludes on February 14, 2019, all practices are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Bay View Middle School Wrestling Room. Practice schedule will be emailed to you on November 16th.
Girls Only Group: PreK - 5th grade (beginners). Practices will be on Saturday mornings. Practices will begin in January and will include 7 practices. Practice schedule will be emailed to you on November 16th. *Experienced girls should join the appropriate Group 2, 3 or 4.
*Option to continue post-season practice starting February 19th and continuing through WWF Youth Regionals and State (additional information will be provided in February)
Group 1 and Girls Group: The first wrestler is $25 and each additional sibling is $15
Group 2, 3 and 4: The first wrestler is $50 and each additional sibling is $25
● Registration fee includes: use of uniforms and headgear, coaching, a T-shirt, option
to participate in the Bay Port Youth Tournament and the end of the year pizza party
● $70 Deposit for equipment – if you choose to check out equipment, deposit will be
collected at time of issue and be refunded when uniform and headgear are returned
● The registration and fee are due by November 12, 2018

Registration Date: Registration will be online this year and is currently open and will remain open until November 12th. Fee will be paid by credit card through the registration site.
"Families with wrestlers participating in Group 2, Group 3 or Group 4 will be required to provide a minimum of eight (8) hours of volunteer service at one of the three wrestling tournaments the Bay Port Wrestling Club hosts (please note this is a family requirement, not a per wrestler requirement)."
I/we hereby give permission for my child to participate in the Bay Port Wrestling Club Program and, hereby release and hold harmless the Bay Port Wrestling Club and all participating members, with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property incident to my child's involvement or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the release or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Parents are responsible for all medical coverage. All participants must be from within the Howard-Suamico School District. I/we also understand that I/we are responsible for the return of all equipment issued to my child. If the equipment is not returned, I/we understand that my $70 deposit will not be returned to me. If equipment is not turned in by April 21, deposit checks will be cashed.
