Dear Families,

This year, your child will be attending a field trip at Heritage Hill.  Your child will be participating in the Belgian Days program, where they learn about life long ago in the area.

Where:  Heritage Hill State Park

  • Thursday, October 11th

What to bring:  warm clothes, bag lunch- NO FLIP FLOPS

Time: 8:45- 2pm

Cost:  $6 for park fee- DUE BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th

The cost of our bus transportation is paid for by our Suamico PTO- We are so grateful- this is one example of how your fundraising support helps us!

We will depart Suamico Elementary at 8:45. Weather permitting, we plan to eat lunch at Green Isle Park before arriving back at school. If we do have bad weather, we will eat our lunch at Heritage Hill. Each child will need to bring a sack lunch in a disposable bag, along with a drink. You have the option to order a bag lunch from school and have the cost subtracted from your child's lunch account. The option appears on the online sign up sheet.

This field trip is very limited for chaperones to attend, and each class is allowed only one chaperone. If you would like to chaperone, please email your child's teacher and she will notify you. You will also need to have an approved background check currently on file. If you are not currently an approved volunteer, CLICK HERE to fill out the online application.

By completing the online form, I acknowledge that I understand and agree to all terms and conditions of this field trip and I have completed this permission form knowingly and voluntarily.

Field trips are not covered under the fee waiver policy. If you need assistance paying your child's field trip fee, please contact Social Worker Rachel at or 662-5001.

Thank you,

Mrs. Beaudry, Mrs. Bender and Ms. Mikle
