Bay Harbor 2nd Grade Field Trip to Heritage Hill
Wednesday, October 17, 2018
8:50 am - 1:30 pm

Payment of $11.50  Due by: Wednesday, October 3, 2018

The second grade classes at Bay Harbor will be taking a field trip to Heritage Hill to visit the Belgium Farm to explore life long ago for the upcoming Social Studies unit.

Please remember that we are outside for most of the day so children should be dressed appropriately and wear comfortable walking shoes.

A bag lunch is also necessary. You can choose to send your own bag lunch or purchase a bagged lunch through the Food Service School Lunch Program. The cost of the School bagged lunch will be processed that day through the student's lunch account. The bag lunch includes: Sunbutter Crustless Sandwich, Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips, Apple, Assorted fresh veggies, Milk.

Only ONE PARENT PER CLASSROOM CAN CHAPERONE this field trip, due to capacity limits at Heritage Hill. Each teacher will randomly select and notify one parent from those who indicate they could attend.  All chaperones must have an approved background check on file with the district.  There is no cost for chaperones to attend, however they must meet us at Heritage Hill.

IMPORTANT:  Please make a note of the date of your child's field trip and also whether or not you need to send a bagged lunch to school that day to eliminate any confusion that morning.

Note:  "By signing my child up for this field trip, I acknowledge that I understand and agree to all of the terms and conditions of this field trip.  In the event of sudden illness or injury, appropriate medical care will be obtained".

"Field trips are NOT covered under the fee waiver.  If you need assistance paying your child's field trip fee, please contact the building social worker, Margo Petroll, at 662-8807".

Thank you,

Mrs. Blahnik, Mrs. Stumpf, Mrs. Fameree, Mrs. Schnobrich
